About Me

Hi! I'm Teresa.

I came to this career later in life, and I'm grateful and humbled every day to do this work. I received my master's in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University in 2022, and have worked with children, teens and adults both in schools and in a clinic setting, with a focus on trauma, depression, and family relational problems.

Why "Oak and  Sage"?

Multiple varieties of oak and sage are native to Santa Clara Valley.

Oaks and sages both provide nourishment and shelter to many organisms, and use very different strategies to survive and thrive in sometimes harsh conditions.  They remind me that life is a sacred endeavor, that we are all interconnected, and that we all have our own ways growing, thriving, and contributing to the world.
