"Your identity is not equivalent to your biography....There is a place in you that has never been wounded." -John O'Donohue
Welcome!
I'm glad you're here.
It might be scary to take this step towards healing and change, and to contemplate sharing your struggles with a new, unknown person.
It might be exciting and energizing to imagine doing something for yourself and your well-being.
Or it might be with exhaustion and resignation that you find yourself once again seeking help for a struggle that has never quite resolved, despite your best efforts.
Whatever it is, I will aim to create a warm, safe and spacious environment for you to explore, experiment, heal, and grow.
Please note that I am not accepting new clients at this time.
What to expect
My approach to therapy is gentle, collaborative, strength-based and focused on what is alive in you from moment to moment.
A typical session with me may include some combination of dialogue, visualization, experiential/somatic exercises and role plays, art, and play. Together we'll discover what works best for you.
I draw on existential and process therapy models as well as Nonviolent Communication in my trauma-informed work.
Sessions are in-person in San José and Campbell.
